Feeding the Beast

I've never been as diligent as I should be about blogging, but I apologize for my recent delinquency. I have been kept busy by work, among other things.

I do not often do abstract pieces--and had not, until recently, done them since RISD--but there is something satisfying about abandoning oneself to application of paint and composition. I did this piece for my parents.

Not sure what the response will be by those generous few who follow my blog. Not even sure what my own feeling is about this work sometimes. But I haven't blogged in far too long. It is time to feed the beast.

Me likey.

Also, in a sadly related subject... were you aware that Al Decredico passed away?

Seems like not that long ago we were sitting in on the same critiques in his class.
